Professional Experience

Celina brings 18 years of experience in various Leadership Coaching and
Human Resource Management positions.

She has held numerous positions in which she has partnered with internal and external customers to identify process requirements, analyze process data, develop business opportunities, and create solutions for complex organizational issues. Celina also has a great deal of experience facilitating work teams in various industries at all levels of the organization.

She has held positions at Colgate Palmolive, Nestle Waters of North America; The Perrier Group, Johnson Controls, Inc., Aramark, AT&T, and NCR.

She has held the following positions: HR Director, Organization Effectiveness Manager, Employee Relations Manager, Area Human Resource Manager, Human Resource Representative / Generalist, Human Resource Consultant, and Human Resource Specialist – Recruitment and College Relations.

Examples of her responsibilities and operational achievements include:

Responsible for all Human Resource Generalist support for 500 - 1000 employees in 18 locations including route operations, manufacturing, logistics and regional headquarter locations.

Single point of contact for all Human Resource Generalist issues for 1500+ employees at 22 locations.

Lead employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and people development, throughout multiple client groups. Created and implemented an R&D, PhD new hire rotational program.

Decreased turnover from 45% - 12% in 18 months.

Restructured and right-sized manufacturing population while simultaneously changing compensation structure from salaried to hourly plus gain sharing.

Managed all employee relations activities, performance management, culture development/change, and succession planning.

Provided counsel to all levels of management including but not limited to issues of recruitment, employee and management development, employee relations, legal compliance, compensation, organizational development, and policy and benefits interpretation.

Celina earned her Master of Arts with a concentration in Human resource Management from the Institute of Labor & Industrial Relations; University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
