Professional Experience Pamela Schmidt-Cavaliero works in partnership with executives and managers to improve organizational effectiveness. She provides solutions in the following areas: change management, process improvement, strategic & operational planning, operational effectiveness, executive coaching, leadership development, team building, group facilitation and structure redesign. Pamela has been directly involved in consulting engagements with many large organizations in a variety of industries. Accomplishments include: Designed, developed and implemented Strategic Change and Continuous Improvement Programs including Six Sigma for multi-million dollar clients in insurance, broadcasting, technology, financial services, hospitality, printing, retail, utilities, mail stream services and real estate industries. Results include reduced turnover by 46%, increased productivity by 50%, and reduced waste by 33%. Managed strategic change for 3 Acquisitions within a 5 year period resulting in retention of 98.7% of the client portfolio by improving service delivery. Designed and implemented the Reorganization for the billing function of multi-million dollar relocation firm. Developed a Change Management Plan for a strategic marketing initiative for a major pharmaceutical company. Delivered Change Acceleration Process workshops to fortune 500 financial, franchise and insurance corporations. Designed/facilitated numerous Town Hall meetings for policy development. Provided Leadership Coaching to numerous executives and managers. Facilitated Management Workshops on strategic planning, change management, facilitation, leadership, organization structure, team building, problem solving, motivation and interpersonal style. Pamela has spent over 12 years in the service industry of real estate and relocation, with 11 years in various management positions. At Cendant, she was Regional Manager of Human Resources responsible for quality implementation, leadership development, organizational analysis, succession planning and OD interventions. Prior to Cendant, she was Director of Policy Development with a division of GE Capital Mortgage, where she held key management positions in account management, real estate acquisition and sales, closing and billing.
Education Pamela has a M.S. in Human Resource Education and Organizational Development from Fordham University, and a B.A. in History and Geography from Boston University. Pamela has been an adjunct professor at Marymount College teaching Organizational Behavior.
